This module aims to provide learners with a basic understanding of the fundamental concepts, principles, and techniques involved in conducting academic research. Through this, it is expected to develop learners' critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills necessary for designing and executing a research study. By the end of the module, learners should be able to select appropriate research methods, develop clear research objectives and hypotheses, formulate research questions, and effectively collect, analyze, and interpret data in relation to an identified research problem. Additionally, learners will gain insights into ethical considerations in research, ensuring the validity and reliability of their findings. This module will also allow the learners to undergo a complete research report, allowing them to showcase their proficiency in applying various research methodologies to real-world scenarios.
